Manage the digital identity of a deceased person

Having the responsibility of closing the accounts of a deceased loved one yourself can be difficult and may even be, for some people, an obstacle to the grieving process. Yet in the digital age, managing this inheritance 2.0 is a necessary evil. If you don’t take care of it, sooner or later you expose yourself to comments, photos or other references to the deceased when browsing the web.

GrantWill is the first European platform to offer a solution to this problem. Thanks to the account closure service, you now have a partner who can listen and take these steps.

Two scenarios are possible:

- you already have the login details, in which case you just have to communicate them to us: once the procedure is complete, we will send you a confirmation email of the deletion of said account (which can take up to 90 days on some sites or social networks)

- you don’t have the login details. GrantWill will then begin the process with the various service providers. These procedures include couriers, conversations over the phone and email exchanges designed to close the profile of the deceased without access to it.

Once the option is subscribed to, a member of our team will contact you at the email address entered on your profile to complete the steps. If you have any questions, please refer to our FAQs or contact our team directly at: contact.famille@grantwill.com
